Print-on-Demand Stores Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled when you visit a storefront operated by SaaSCrest (the “Store”), create a design, place an order, use an order link, or contact us.

Each Store is operated by SaaSCrest Labs Inc., a British Columbia corporation (“SaaSCrest,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). SaaSCrest is responsible for personal information handled through this website.

The SaaSCrest Corporate Privacy Policy also applies. It describes SaaSCrest’s general privacy practices. This Policy adds details for the Store. If there is a direct conflict, this Policy governs for the personal information handled through the Store as described in this Policy.

  • confirmations that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit content and place an order.

  • records showing which design and product you approved;
  • prices, taxes, discounts, shipping charges, payment status, and refund status;
  • production, shipping, tracking, and delivery information;
  • records of content, safety, quality, and fraud reviews; and
  • messages sent about your order or support request.

Information collected automatically

When you use the website, we may collect:

  • internet protocol address, browser type, device type, operating system, and general location based on network information;
  • pages viewed, buttons used, referring website, and approximate visit times;
  • information needed to keep your design and order access private;
  • security, fraud-prevention, and usage information; and
  • error and performance information.

Payment information

Payment details are entered through our payment processor. SaaSCrest receives payment and transaction information needed to complete the order, but does not store your full card number or card security code.

2. How we use personal information

We use personal information to:

  • provide the design experience and remember your work;
  • create, edit, review, and prepare images;
  • show product previews and record your approval;
  • calculate prices, taxes, and shipping charges;
  • process payments, refunds, and payment disputes;
  • make, ship, track, and deliver your order;
  • send order confirmations, order links, shipping updates, and support messages;
  • respond to questions, cancellations, and product problems;
  • prevent fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and unsafe or unlawful content;
  • maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the website;
  • keep business, tax, accounting, safety, and legal records; and
  • comply with law and enforce our agreements.

We limit collection and use to purposes reasonably connected with operating the website, completing orders, protecting the service, supporting customers, and meeting legal obligations.

3. Automated design and content review

The website uses automated tools to understand design requests and to create or edit images. Prompts, uploaded images, and generated designs may be processed for those purposes.

We may also review submitted and generated content to decide whether we can safely and lawfully create or print it. Authorized staff may review content when needed.

These reviews are used to assess the content submitted for a design or order. They are not used to identify a customer or build a profile about a person shown in a photograph.

SaaSCrest does not publish private design requests, uploaded images, or generated designs, use them in advertising, sell them as stock content, or use them to train AI systems for unrelated purposes unless you give separate permission.

4. When we share information

We share personal information only as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy.

This may include companies that help us with:

  • website hosting, storage, security, and technical operations;
  • AI-assisted design, image processing, and content review;
  • payment processing and tax calculation;
  • product manufacturing, shipping, and tracking;
  • email delivery and customer support;
  • optional website analytics; and
  • error monitoring, fraud prevention, and business administration.

These companies receive information needed for the work they perform for us. We require them to handle it for authorized purposes and to protect it appropriately.

We may also disclose information:

  • when required by law, court order, or valid legal process;
  • to protect a person’s safety, rights, or property;
  • to investigate fraud, misuse, or a violation of our agreements;
  • to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; or
  • as part of a proposed or completed sale, merger, financing, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for targeted advertising or unrelated advertising by other companies.

5. Browser storage and optional analytics

The website saves small pieces of information in your browser to keep your design private, remember your order access, maintain security, and save your privacy choice. The website may not work properly if you block this information.

We may ask for permission to use optional analytics. This helps us understand how visitors use the website and where they encounter problems. It is not required to place an order.

Optional analytics may record page movement and interactions. We configure it to avoid collecting the content of design requests, images, names, addresses, payment details, order links, and private messages.

You may accept or decline optional analytics and may change your choice through the Privacy choices link in the website footer.

Declining optional analytics does not stop information needed to operate and secure the website, process orders, keep financial records, or provide support.

6. Order and service messages

We use your email address to send messages needed for your design or order, including order links, confirmations, payment and refund notices, production or shipping updates, delivery information, and replies to support requests.

These are service messages, not marketing emails. We do not use order information to send newsletters or promotional email unless you separately agree to receive them.

7. Processing outside Canada

SaaSCrest is based in British Columbia, Canada. Some information may be stored or processed in Canada, the United States, or other countries where companies working for us are located.

Information processed in another country may be subject to that country’s laws and may be accessible to courts, law-enforcement agencies, or other authorities through lawful process.

8. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, complete and support orders, prevent fraud, meet tax and accounting requirements, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with law.

In general:

  • incomplete uploads and design work that does not result in an order are deleted after they expire and are no longer needed;
  • order, payment, tax, refund, shipping, and related business records are normally kept for up to seven years after the order is completed or closed; and
  • uploaded and generated images connected with an order may be kept for up to seven years when needed to make or support the product, document the approved design, prevent misuse, or handle a dispute. We may remove them sooner when those purposes end.

We may keep information longer when a dispute or investigation is active, when needed to protect safety or security, or when a legal preservation requirement applies.

Deleted information may remain for a limited period in protected backups before those backups are overwritten or expire.

9. Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, including restricted access, private storage, encrypted transmission, security monitoring, and controlled order links.

No website or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect any design or order link you receive and do not forward it to anyone who should not see your information.

10. Your privacy choices and requests

You may:

  • decline optional analytics;
  • ask for access to personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate personal information;
  • withdraw consent where permitted;
  • ask whether information that is no longer needed can be deleted; and
  • ask a question or challenge our compliance with our privacy obligations.

We may need information to verify your identity before responding. Because customers do not have ordinary website accounts, we may use order details, email confirmation, or other reasonable steps to prevent disclosure to the wrong person.

Withdrawing consent may mean that we cannot continue a design, complete an order, or provide some support.

Contact our Privacy Officer at privacy@saascrest.com to make a request.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.

11. Adults and photographs of children

Each Store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly allow anyone who has not reached the age of majority where they live to create a design, upload content, or place an order.

This does not prevent an adult customer from submitting a family photograph or another image that includes a child. The adult must have the legal right and permission needed to use the photograph. Do not submit exploitative, sexualized, harmful, or unlawfully obtained images of a child.

If we learn that a person who has not reached the age of majority submitted personal information directly through the website, we may delete it and cancel any related design or order.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version will be posted on this page with its effective date.
