Creating your artwork

How does Eon & Canopy create artwork?

Describe what you want in the studio, or upload a photo to work from, and Eon & Canopy creates artwork from your instructions. You can review the results and request changes before choosing what to order. Nothing is printed until you approve the final preview and pay.

Does Eon & Canopy use generative AI?

Yes. Your artwork is created by AI from your instructions and any photo you upload.

Results can be unpredictable. Artwork may contain mistakes, distorted details, or misspelled words, and we cannot promise a piece is unique or free from every possible third-party claim. Review the final preview carefully before you order. The Content and Image Policy sets this out in full.

Can I start from an idea or upload a photograph?

Either. Describe an idea in your own words, or upload a photo to work from.

If you upload a photo, you need the rights to use it, including permission from anyone recognizable in it. Being shown in a photo does not by itself mean you own it, and finding one online or buying a copy does not grant permission. See the Content and Image Policy.

Can I request changes?

Yes. Describe what you want to adjust in the studio. Limits apply to creating and revising artwork. If you reach a limit, the studio explains what happened, and you can continue with artwork you already have. New artwork may also be temporarily unavailable.

Do I approve the artwork before ordering?

Yes. First approve the artwork, then confirm your product options and size and review the final preview. Check the artwork, text, and crop before approving it for your cart. You then review your cart, delivery details, and final total before paying. Preparation for printing starts after payment.

Can I return to an earlier version?

Yes. Choose Artwork in the studio to open the gallery and select an earlier piece that is still available. You can return to your artwork before ordering, but changes to the artwork or product may require a new final preview and approval. Unordered artwork is not stored indefinitely.

Can I save my design and come back later?

Choose Save for later in the studio to copy a private link or email one to yourself. The link brings back your artwork and product choices on another device without an account. Anyone with the link can access that studio, so keep it private and use it before the displayed expiry.

Can I create something inspired by a real place?

Yes. Real landscapes, coastlines, mountains, and towns are ordinary subjects, and describing one you know is a good way to start.

What you cannot do is reproduce someone else's photo or artwork of that place without the rights to it. Describe the place, not a particular picture of it.

Can I ask for the style of a particular artist?

Describe the palette, brushwork, light, era, and mood you are after rather than naming a living artist or a specific protected work. That also gets you closer to what you actually want.

Requests that would reproduce copyrighted artwork, characters, logos, trademarks, or a person's likeness without the necessary rights may be declined. See the Content and Image Policy.

What kinds of content are not allowed?

Broadly: anything illegal; sexual content involving children; non-consensual intimate material; threats, targeted harassment, or hatred; graphic sexual content or extreme violence; another person's private information; deceptive impersonation; and protected material you do not have the rights to use.

We may also decline content that creates a legal, safety, or production concern even when you believe it is permitted. If you think something was declined by mistake, contact us. The full list is in the Content and Image Policy.

Choosing a product

When do I choose the product and size?

You can start from a product on the site or choose one after approving your artwork. In the studio, confirm the product, available presentation options, and size, then review the final preview and item price. Shipping and any applicable tax are finalized during checkout before you pay.

Which products are available?

The current range, with prices, is on the products page. You can also browse products inside the conversation once your artwork is ready.

Will my artwork look exactly the same on every product?

Not exactly. It is the same piece, but materials carry color and contrast differently. Paper, canvas, and framed finishes each give the same artwork its own depth and surface.

Proportions differ too, so the fit depends on the size you choose. Review the final preview before approving it. Screen colors and digital previews can differ from the finished print.

How is the artwork cropped for the selected size?

Your artwork is prepared to fit the product and size you choose. You see the result in the final preview before you approve it and pay.

Check that the framing keeps the details you want. If it does not look right, choose another size or return to your artwork before approving.

Are the product photos showing my exact artwork?

Product photographs may use sample artwork to show the material, frame, finish, and construction. In the studio, your artwork may also appear in a digital preview on the selected product when that preview is available. Otherwise, the studio shows the artwork itself. These are previews, not photographs of a finished order.

What resolution and print quality should I expect?

The studio checks which sizes can be prepared from your artwork. Review the final preview for details such as faces, spelling, and layout. Preparing artwork at a higher resolution does not correct mistakes in the design.

After payment, the approved piece is prepared at full print resolution for your chosen size and checked before it goes to production.

Orders and delivery

Where do you ship?

We support delivery to the United States and Canada. Availability depends on the product and address. Enter your delivery address during checkout to see available shipping options, prices, and timing estimates before you pay.

How long do production and delivery take?

Every product is made to order, so allow for both production and transit. Review the production and delivery estimates for your shipping option during checkout, before paying.

Production and delivery dates are estimates unless we expressly state that a date is guaranteed. Tracking is sent when available, and an order may arrive in more than one package. See the shipping, returns and cancellations summary.

How do I check my order status?

Go to order status and enter the email address you used at checkout. We email you a secure link to your orders. Open an order to see its progress and tracking once available. You can also open it from your order confirmation email.

How do I get help with an existing order?

Open your order from order status and choose Send us a message under Help with this order. Your message stays linked to the order, and we reply there and by email. You can also reply to your order confirmation email.

If you cannot access your order, use the contact page and include your order number if you have it.

Can I order again or use my artwork on another product?

Open your order from order status and find Order again. Select the available items and quantities, then choose Review current prices to prepare a new cart. Availability and prices may have changed since your original order.

If Use this artwork on another product is available, choose it to bring that artwork into the studio and select a new product. Review and approve the new preview before ordering.

Can I change or cancel an order?

Ask as soon as you can. If your request reaches us before production begins, we cancel the order and refund what you paid. Once production begins we usually cannot change or cancel it, because the product is being made specifically for you. A cancellation is not complete until we confirm it.

Shipping addresses cannot be edited after checkout. If yours is wrong, contact us immediately. If the order can be stopped, place a new one with the correct address once we confirm that it was.

To request cancellation, open your order from order status. The terms are in the shipping, returns and cancellations summary.

What happens if my order arrives damaged or defective?

Contact us within 30 days of delivery if it arrives damaged, has a significant manufacturing defect, is made incorrectly, or is materially different from what you ordered. If an order never arrives, the same 30 days runs from the latest estimated delivery date. Both windows are set by the shipping, returns and cancellations summary.

Include your order number, a description of the problem, and clear photographs when we ask for them. Keep the product and its packaging until we tell you whether they are needed, and do not send anything back unless we give you return instructions.

If we approve the claim we will provide a replacement, a reprint, or a refund, depending on the problem. Contact us to start.

Returns, privacy, and ownership

Can I return custom artwork?

Customized products are not returnable for a change of mind, an option selected incorrectly, an address entered incorrectly, or a fault that was visible in the final preview you approved. Each piece is made for your order alone, which is why the approval step exists.

Products that arrive damaged, defective, made incorrectly, or materially different from what you ordered are handled separately and are not affected by this. The terms are in the shipping, returns and cancellations summary.

Is my uploaded photograph kept private?

Your uploaded photo is not published. We and the service providers working for us may process it to create and prepare your artwork, check content, fulfill your order, and provide support. Authorized staff may review it when needed.

Content reviews assess what was submitted for a design or an order. They are not used to identify you or to build a profile of anyone shown in a photo. See the Privacy Policy.

Will Eon & Canopy publicly display my artwork?

No. Private design requests, uploaded photos, and the artwork created from them are not placed in a public gallery, used in advertising, sold as stock content, or used to train AI systems for unrelated purposes unless you give separate permission.

This is stated in both the Content and Image Policy and the Privacy Policy.

Who can use the artwork I create?

You keep the rights you already have in what you submit. You give us permission to use it as reasonably needed to run the design service, review it for legal and safety concerns, prepare and make your product, deliver it, and support your order.

Note that AI-created artwork is not promised to be unique or eligible for copyright protection, so it is not something you should assume you can register or license exclusively. The details are in the Content and Image Policy and the Terms of Use and Sale.

How are my descriptions, photos, and artwork handled?

What you write, what you upload, and what is created from them are used to create your artwork and to review whether it can be made lawfully and safely. Automated checks do most of that work, and authorized staff may review content when needed.

Work that does not lead to an order is deleted once it expires and is no longer needed. Material connected with an order is kept while it is needed to make and support the product and to meet tax, accounting, and legal record requirements. The retention periods are in the Privacy Policy.
